Nutritional info for the "Green Shake" and
" resting heart rate" experiment
A few days ago I emailed Montel Williams Living Well and asked what is the nutritional info for the "green shake". Here was there response for a 24 oz glass:Calories: 128
Total fat: 0g
Cholesterol: 0g
Sodium: 5g
Carbohydrates: 32g
Fiber: 5g
Protein: 2g
I also tried a little experiment the other night to see what my true resting heart rate was while I was sleeping. I turned on the Garmin 305 @ 10:00 and I was fast asleep as you can see in 20 min's my resting HR was in the mid 40's. The lowest my HR dropped to was 32 a couple of times for the night with an average of 50 bpm for the 7 hours of sleeping. I think I've established a very good aerobic foundation with the increase in bike training.
