After 650 miles on the Specialized Armadillo Elite tires I was noticing some sidewall wear accumulating right above the rim. I took them into today to the Bike Shop and discussed with Mel what could be causing the problem. He took the tire off and realized it was a manufacturing defect. Luckily he had a set available in the store and quickly swapped them out.
Let's see how many miles I can get on these.
